Record number of youth delegates to Shipshewana

More than 300 youth and supporters are expected to converge in Indiana the weekend of Feb. 18-22 for the fifth Youth Evangelism Congress.
Churches are encouraged to send their young seniors and young adults to explore ways to impact their local congregations with total funding of $100,000, the only opportunity in the world where a union partners with churches to enable young people to do evangelism in their local context. Congress organizers noted that one church is sponsoring 19 delegates, refugees from Congo and Rwanda.
With the host hotel running out of rooms, Lake Union youth director Ron Whitehead said he was looking forward to “seeing what God will do next with his Lake Union youth.”
