Kuje: Boss Mustapha commands the Go-International event center
The Secretary to the Federal Government (SGF), Boss Mustapha on Saturday dedicated the Conference and Event Center of Go-International School of Mission, Discipleship and Leadership in Kuje, FCT, Abuja.
The commissioning of the center, SGF said, naturally due to his current weekday hours, it would have been difficult for him to go out for any event, however, he said Go-International, like the children of Issachar in 1Chronicles 12:32, understood the time and knew what to do, hence commissioning the mission center is critical at a time like this.
He noted that the demographic shift since the challenges of COVID-19 in 2019, with its socio-economic aftershocks, has awakened those with understanding to seek new directions for survival in mission activities, saying, “ Our paradigm shift in ensuring that we do not rely entirely on donors is one of those ways.
Boss Mustapha, who is also Chairman of the Board of Go-International, said that as a ministry that knows time, it is no longer time to sit on the fence and ask people all the time. same people for help.
“We have been in the business of Go-International, started in Koma, Adamawa State, since 1983, and that span has helped us through good and difficult times. I comment on all the members of our general council, the income generation committee who stood up to encourage the project and those who supported its realization.
He underlined that what makes the inauguration of the room significant is the fact that “it marks the beginning of a new era for us at Go-International. First, it will reduce our dependence on individuals and churches who themselves no longer find it easy to raise financial support for mission.
Earlier, in his welcoming remarks, Go-International Executive Director Gabriel L. Barau appreciated the collective support of board members, staff and churches.
He said the work and workers of Go-International are supported by Christians of all faiths and walks of life, through prayer, ministry outreach and raising financial, material and human resources for the actualization of the departmental vision and goals.
These supports include church planting and evangelism, medical missions, holistic missions through rural empowerment, peacebuilding and conflict resolution, advocacy and creating community synergies.
