The elected national secretary of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Samuel Nnaemeka Anyanwu, said at the weekend that his emergence as the party’s national secretary was not to drive anyone out.
Anyanwu said this while chatting with our weekend correspondent.
He said the main reason for its emergence was to join forces with other members of the PDP National Working Committee (NWC) to ensure Nigeria is saved from the maladministration of the All Progressives Congress (APC). in power.
“As the national scribe of Africa’s largest political party, my mission is to truly unite everyone rather than drive anyone out.
“This time around, our party cannot afford to fail. We must do our best by giving peace a chance. Proof of the establishment of peace will begin with sincerity of purpose and genuine reconciliation of aggrieved members across Nigeria. “
Senator Anyanwu instructed the PDP faithful to engage in political evangelism to attract more members to the party, assuring them of his will, together with his colleagues, to inject fresh air that would guarantee victory of the party in 2023.
He further promised a level playing field for all party members, adding that the PDP NWC would do their best to meet all interests in line with Nigeria’s bailout mandate.
