Bob Klein, 57 years old | Timetables of the three cities

Bob Klein of Capac was called home for his Eternal Award on Thursday, December 16, 2021. Robert Jay Klein was born April 12, 1964 in Yale, MI, son of June (Summers) and the late Max Klein. Bob, nicknamed Paco by his family, grew up in Allenton on his parents’ vegetable farm with his ten siblings where he learned perseverance and a work ethic like no other (not to mention how to throw a tomato green). After graduating from Almont High School in 1982, he made many friendships that turned into family. Everyone who met Bob loved him from the start and then loved him! It was almost impossible not to love; ask someone who knew him. He was united in Holy Matrimony to Beth Ann Pytleski on June 29, 1996 at Saint John the Evangelist Parish in Allenton. Together, they had five beautiful children: Theresa, Anna, Max, MaryBeth and Nathan.
For the past 26 years he has worked at L&L Products in Romeo as a machine operator. Bob was an avid golfer and a fan of all sports, especially his Wolverines and the Lie-downs (Lions). He followed all of the Detroit teams and spent many days watching them live across the country and on the couch in his living room. “Are you serious? Come on!” often shouted on television when he disagreed with a call from an official. At all of his children’s games, he was the official-unofficial line keeper, chain gang member, and their biggest fan.
Most important to Bob was his unwavering and devout faith in God. He was baptized in 2003 at Immaculate Conception Parish in Lapeer. Bob took his new faith and ran with it. He studied it, read the Bible and prayed daily with his family. He frequented the sacraments often, even until his death. A long-time member of Holy Family Parish in Memphis, he did not keep his lamp under a bushel, but instead placed it high on a lamp stand and it lit everything in his house (Matthew 5:15). He was a good and honorable son, brother, uncle, godfather, friend, spouse and father. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Grant them eternal rest, O Lord, and may everlasting light shine upon them.
He is survived by his mother, June; his wife and children; her siblings, Gary (Donna) Klein, Jim Klein, Carl Klein, Sharon Ginn, Mike Klein, Mark Klein, Tim (Tammy) Klein, Don Klein and Rick Klein; his many in-laws including Ray and Flo Pytleski, Donna (Mark) Simpson, Michelle Pytleski, Mark (Kim) Pytleski, Paul (Mary) Pytleski, Matthew (Carol) Pytleski and John (Kimberley) Pytleski. He was the uncle (known as UB) of 36 nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his father, Max; his sister, Linda Dean; and his brother-in-law, Peter Pytleski.
There will be a visit from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 to Holy Family Parish in Memphis, followed by the Holy Sacrifice of Mass at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at the West Berlin Cemetery in Allenton. https://www.gofundme.com/e/57-for-ub “Remember no man is a failure who has friends.”
