Abuja RCCG members praise Pastor Adeboye as he turns 80

Some members of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) in Abuja continued to praise Enoch Adeboye, the general overseer of the church, who recorded 80 points on Wednesday.

Mr. Adeboye was praised for his stubbornness in his teachings, evangelism. They prayed to God to bless him and keep him healthy.

Christians spoke in interviews with NAN in Abuja.

Adonri Osarenti, the pastor in charge of RCCG’s Springforth Zone on behalf of the church, wished the general overseer a memorable 80th birthday.

In a message to him, Mr. Osarenti said the church wishes him a very wonderful historic birthday celebration and the continued grace of God.

“Your children in Springforth Area, Province 15, Region 10, Abuja, pray to God for guidance and protection for you further.

“We are celebrating your 80th birthday with you today.

“You continue to inspire millions around the world with your contagious virtue of humility and your unique insight into the word of God.

“We wish dad GO many more years of good health and faithful service to God,” he said.

In addition, Christ the Wonderful Parish Pastor in Charge, Glorious Abu, Lugbe also congratulated the General Overseer on his 80th birthday.

“On this occasion of your 80th birthday, we celebrate your grace and your impact as a true servant of God.

“You have continued to positively influence many lives, projecting Christian values ​​with dedication to the development of the country as a whole.

“Your humility and kindness have endeared you with your enormous membership and beyond.

“You are the general of God and the pillar of the Christian faith with spotless service in the Kingdom of God.

“Your phenomenal life as a servant of God will continue to be an inspiration to many believers in God,” he said.

Mr. Abu said “as my father in the Lord, I will imitate your footsteps and see that souls are won by the gospel of Christ”.

He prayed that Almighty God would grant Mr. Adeboye a longer life, good health and more strength and grace to work in his vineyard.

Chika Okereke, a businessman and RCCG member prayed for the good health of the pastor.

He also prayed to God to keep him and all his members from deviating from his teachings as God commanded.

He called on Christians everywhere to pray for Mr Adeboye “as he ages in grace”.
